There will be a number of familiar faces on show at Steel Park this Saturday afternoon when Corby Town host Burnham in the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division.

Steelman chairman Stevie Noble has invited a number of former players and managers from across the club’s history to witness how things are progressing at Steel Park, as Tommy Wright’s men aim to take top spot.

The guests will include former Manchester United Busby Babe Alex Dawson, the club’s record appearance maker Derek Walker, the first person to score at the Rockingham Triangle Stadium Shaun Diver and the two most successful Corby based managers Elwyn Roberts and Rob Dunion.

The guests will be presented to the crowd pre-match, before watching the modern day Steelmen take on Burnham.

Noble told corbytownfc.co.uk; “This is something that myself and the board have wanted to do for a long time. As the club continues to make strides forward into the future we should never forget our proud past.”
