I would take a 2-2 at Risborough all day long the way we have been playing in recent weeks.

 

My five match Division One acca is:

 

Arlesey Town Res v Stony (away win)

Bedford v Winslow (home win)

Chesham United Res v Welwyn GC (draw!)

FC Broxbourne v Southall (home win)

Hatfield Town v Buckingham Athletic (home win)

 

Be interested to see how St Mags Res get on against BSCFC u21 in the County Cup tomorrow.  BSCFC u21 beat us in an earlier round and they were useful.  Would expect St Mags to win, but think Stortford will give them a closer game than some of their league opponents in recent weeks.  Would be good for our Reserve Division if Sun and St Mags made the final.

Today we travel to Greenford to face the London Tigers.

 

We'll try our best to finish this game with all 11 HTFC players on the pitch and no casualties in the terraces . . . promise.

3-2 up now Bedford no.3 own goal. So close to making it safe as Wiltsheres terrific strike is tipped onto bar by keeper.

I can confirm Broxbourne are a very good side. They like to get the ball down and play great football, and at times it was a pleasure to watch. Although today they made a man advantage and a bad kick from me just work for them to snatch a draw after another confident and tactically astute performance from Southall.

I have to give credit to my manager who's come in to the club in September, and produced a record of P17 W7 D7 L3 which most club would envy, and he really has made us difficult to play against, whilst also keeping the flair and interchanges that make us exciting to watch. The spirit in the camp is at an all time high, and were enjoying playing and fighting for each other. a few more of those draws become wins, were a top of table team.

And for any oppo reading this, my groin is fine......honest :-)

Good win today for our first team, first time we have won 2 consecutive games since Decemeber. Also first time we have won at 61fc for about 15 years!

 

Tough game against AFC Dunstable for our reserves who have a great young side.think they will win our division and nice bunch as well.
