FF News Posted March 5, 2015 Share Posted March 5, 2015 Abingdon United have completed the dual registration of Eastleigh central defender Jack Smith. 20 year old Smith, who has recently been out on loan at Evo-Stik Southern League Fleet Town, is expected to make his debut at Flackwell Heath this weekend. Smith was added to the Eastleigh Conference squad this summer after impressing through their academy system. Assistant Manager Andy Lyne said. “ Jack was involved with me for a spell at Wantage, he’s a great lad and a no nonsense defender who is very highly regarded by Eastleigh. Our thanks to Spitfires Manager Richard Hill for his co-operation and help in sorting this so quickly”.
