HELLO, HELLO, IS THERE ANYONE HERE?

Recommended Posts

Blimey this pub is becoming more and more deserted by the day. No point in coming in here for some company and lively conversation the place is dead.

How did everyone's weekend go then? How many of you got dragged out to do Christmas shopping? Anybody do anything particularly exciting?

Come on guys(or gals), what's the most unusual thing anyone did over the weekend?

Last weekend was a sore point. Very Little Miss Happy has been playing up big time and winding Mrs Happy up to the extent that I didn't go to see Town beat Burnham in the League Cup, so narrowly avoiding divorce proceedings.

Oh well, I'm off to see the once mighty Spurs tomorrow in the Plastic cup where we will probably get slaughtered by Man City. At least I'll be in a box and enjoy a free four course meal before the game with lots of free drinkies!

I went to see the exhibition of the terra cotta army. I missed Enfield Town’s magnificent win against Burnham because of the distance. The entrance fee was similar.

Now that is an interesting way to spend a weekend. Fantastic Colin, I am really envious. (The terra cotta army not the Enfield Town game!)

I agree Lass and have you noticed that the pub and other areas of chat used to be broad church but are all now only inhabited by the same people

Shame really the old subtle sense of humour and chat has gone and the messages are woefully similar what ever the subject

I am here, albeit on a part time basis, (one handed, due to NHS incompetence).

Great weekend. Suffered pain and found out on Monday, the whole bl**dy operation, (all 40 stitches), have become infected.

Anyone know a good lawyer ??

Pabird you are so right. Remember the conversations back in April/May? Whatever happened to that nice chap Official? Far more intelligent and cultured than Uncle, if I may say so. A much better class of person.

Oh, Invis, in answer to your question.....yes I do think your "mad or something"!

If you're reading this LMU....welcome back!
