RESERVES WIN AT WHITSTABLE IN LEAGUE CUP

Recommended Posts

The Reserve (Under 21) team returned to Whitstable tonight after the original match was abandoned due to a floodlight failure.

Russell Downs opened the scoring on ten minutes and Ross Damrell made it two nil a minute before half time. The final score was 2-0 though it could have been five had not the home keeper made some excellent saves.

They are now away to Three Bridges in the semi-final.

The other semi final is Enfield Town v Worthing

Simon - I think they will wait until the two finalists are known, before deciding on the venue.

If Hornchurch and Enfield both get through then hopefully it will be fairly local, but if it is against Worthing then at least one of the finalists will have a long journey.
