summer retention list

not sure who is on two year contracts, but whether margate are in conference south or ryman, some tough decisions for TB to make.

whether margate get promoted or not -i reckon its been a good season (always hacked off about not doing better in cups ) but for me-a good season anyway.

whatever league club are in- i would happily see all of the current squad retained.

can't see a weak link.

all capable of consolidating the club in mid table in conf south;and if promotion doesn't happen this season, margate will romp the ryman next season with this set of players.

(as long as TB stays in charge-thats the key thing -takes more than one full season to grow a team -anything better is a bonus )

good things come to those who wait.

No need to deliberately change any personnel either way imo.

In practice, i am sure TB will make a few changes-but can't see anything obvious.

only doubts for me are Bull-simply because he has been dragged out of retirement once ;and Gerring-where long term  logistics may kick in.

better still if both  can be persuaded to renew for next season.

the former-albeit if margate don't win the league this season-we will romp it next as long as TB is manager-may even get some cup runs going.

i am sure we would not struggle in conf south though-so given the choice-now the off field infrastructure is in place (which it wasn't before) i'd go for promotion and an ok middish table finish in conf south-which is very achievable imo without too much change to the current squad.
