michael Posted March 27, 2015 Share Posted March 27, 2015 Good to read TB praising the pitch after tuesday. not a a lot of scope-but i would like to see it widened for next season-i may be wrong-but always seems a bit narrow to me. not a lot of scope,but maybe could squeeze about two feet each side ,and similar end to end. surely benefits the more expansive footballing team ? michael Posted March 27, 2015 Author Share Posted March 27, 2015 but they've got long legs and can stretch out a bit ? take your point-no real wingers-waste of space anyway ,as those wide players are rarely in the game. most games are won 'down the middle; so i am very much for the way TB sets the team up. i guess i was alluding to the fact that maybe we are usually the fitter and better side-so gives players a chance to play the ball around even more. I do seem to recall messrs eyong, rents, taylor,riviere, mitchell, attwood cavorting down the flanks on a few occasions as well Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
