First class effort from the club and from the isle of thanet gazette imo.

(just a pity they sometimes go on the faceache platform first which seems wrong to me,but what little do i know .

as they are equally 'unofficial, i would be interested to know why Mr Day puts them on unofficial facebook and not on here

info usually up quickly and videos left right and centre.

credit all around

scale of the effort certainly up there among the best in non league football surely  ?

appreciated and great effort all round ,particularly where i believe there are some volunteers involved

Excuse me not all full time, my son puts the reports on website, updates twitter, football webpages etc and is all on a voluntary basis, so I suggest get your facts right UTG before posting such stuff.

Michael the reason its put on Facebook is purely the fact that nearly everyone, yourself included, use that social media so, by doing so, Ryan will get more hits which keeps up in a high position for Pitchero.o

An independent view says your gonna win nothing this season=Not good enough.

Why are you not good enough=amateur inept run club which will not report and hand over the name of a known previously banned Margate supporter/hooligan who violently punched an Enfield Town employee at a recent home game.

For that reason you are all tarnished with the same brush=wishing you all failure at everything you challenge for

previously banned.... wow, how do you know this????? I agree that this should not of happened and spoilt any otherwise (apart from the result) good day.  If no-one has apologised from the club then I'll step and say "Sorry".  Not sure you should tarnish the 600 other supporters though.

Not condoning what happened at all - there's no place for violence in football.

We are far from an amateur & ineptly run club though, in fact many opposition fans remark on how friendly our fans & club are - it's foolish to tar all our fans with the same brush, purely because of the actions of one idiot.

I'd look closer to home before mudslinging, if I was you - and in particular at your fans actions at the Coffin End who were singing anti-Semitic songs about Wingate & Finchley - one ditty included how much you hate them & that their ground smells of bacon.

I realise this is a serious allegation to make, but I heard every word.

Didn't your previous manager get sacked for an anti-Semitic incident?

Stay classy.

1/ Your stewards and board member owned up to knowing the violent culprit and the steward said he was previously banned, I believe him

2/ you are all tarnished unless you do something about it

3/ we did do something about a manager who was ,alledged, to have made anti semetic comments, there you have the difference, we acted, Margate have,nt

4/ who said we hate Wingate? we can provide taped evidence of there fans shouting homophobic obscenities at our players 2-3 seasons ago, our rivalry is healthy and respectful and we enjoy it when when they lose as they do when we lose

So come on pressure your board to stand up and be counted like we were when we sacked our manager who did miracles to keep us up last year let alone a thug who has tarnished 600+ Margate fans, you'd be applauded by everyone and in particular the poor lad who now needs dental treatment over a period of time to repair/replace 6 teeth.

any way, as i was posting, i do think the media communications have been very good this season.

credit to the i of T gazette last night for their live interactive thread and all that.

it does get better and better.

I read that the gentleman from I of T gazette has a sticker in his car saying that'he gets it up quick'

and he certainly does.

the info fed to supporters about the games has been superb imo.

Guernsey Tom will have been particularly impressed i am sure.

hope he is ok-always made posts of value

After reading some of the post on this thread I'm surprised that media communications are more important than allowing law breakers into your ground. Sound like you have your priorities wrong. Going to football at this level should be enjoyable for everyone. Shame on you. Never mind. Great media coverage. I agree with EU.

I think the reason no-one has answered/commented anymore about the subject is because simply its out of our hands.  If Enfield feel that MFC have wronged them then they need to approach the club and not the "real" fans/supporters of non-league football on this forum (no offence meant).  This thread was about media communication and was kind of hi-jacked by Enfield United (fan),  I personally think he has a valid point but asking for justice on a football forum of "said" team would probably fall on deaf ears - that doesn't make us bad fans nor bad people, just my opinion by the way which is what we are all airing on here

interesting it's been brought up again by EU after all these weeks....can't think why.....oh maybe with playoffs in mind and a chance we play each other yet again, so I'll 'fire things up'......

I don't think EU has brought it up because of the play offs. As I was the one who was punched at your ground, I feel your club hasn't dealt with it very well at all, I was lied to about it being reported to the police they wouldn't let me point out who done it. I no the majority of your fans are brilliant but that small minority let your club down and your board hasn't done anything about it
