Dorking F.C. are having a day off but there are one or two up-dates of scores on the CCL forum for those interested.

Very very poor from Windsor today, E&E better than us all over the pitch, not that they had to be particularly good to beat what was a bit of a shower out there to be honest.

We tried hard enough but nothing came off. Jekyll & Hyde team at the moment but playing with no wingers makes us too easy to snuff out.

Roll on Tuesday. (Gulp)

Knaphill 4 Guildford 2

Decent and relatively free flowing game, given the circumstances. Three up ten minutes into the second half, the hosts had a brief wobble when Guildford pulled one back, but a cracker made it 4-1 and although the visitors made it 4-2 with plenty of time left, Knaphill got the victory their passing and movement deserved. Nobody spilt their tea, so even the pitch survived too. A good watch for the neutral at least. GCFC choir in persistent form, as ever.

I decided to venture to Knaphill today and witnessed a good performance from the home side.Thunderwood ? was outstanding for the home side.

On a sour note however was the abuse the Knaphill photographer received.I was told the young lad is just 15 years old and Guildford fans were barracking him and singing"Lisa Hardings yellow and blue army" I presume this is the same woman as used to be on this forum before a remarkable outburst on here.I was told she is now Guildfords physio but Knaphill had banned her from the match.Trouble and drama seem to follow this individual wherever she goes. Regardless it was pathetic from Guildford fans which included committee members. Its just as well that no one locally thats worth their salt associate you with the old Guildford City in anyway shape or form. A soulless imitation club that belongs back at Burpham rec.

Don't think anyone knows yet Duncs. Pure speculation. Basically don't finish in the bottom 3 and you should be fine!

Camberley vs Molesey is looking even more tasty next week after today's result.

Good win for us today at home to Farnham and best football we've played since we took over back in mid October. Could and should have been more, but 5-0 will do just fine. Officials were good today as well. Good luck to Farnham for the last couple of weeks of the season.

Wise words Powelly,Cam against the Moles looks like the decider good luck to both teams but have to favour Cam as an ex player and management team member.

Well I reckon it has been a few years since I have been involved like that in a game.  I felt Ashford were a little bit shall we say soft in the first half with far too much throwing themselves around and screaming.  In saying that I also felt our player was lucky not to see a straight red.  Ashford lead at the break when Camberley missed a few opportunites to clear.

2nd half was very much Camberleys however Ashford looked dangerous on the break.  Felt for the Ashford keeper who had calf problems, rib issues and I think at one point got dust in his eye.  In the end Camberley deserved their equaliser as they worked the Ashford keeper far more than they worked our keeper.  We could debate all day re penalties and diving :)

I shouted all sorts today and I would like to put on record how well the Ashford players took it.  Especially their 6 who I thought was heads above everyone else today.  He had a fantastic game and I told him afterwards as well :)

Despite all the animosity during the game the after match events were what it is about and why I love non league. Including one of the assistants fronting up in the bar :)

Well done to Ashford for derailing us and putting the pressure back on us for next week.  We will not forget that ;)

The assistant fronting up in the bar

He came into the bar for a drink.  Doesn't fit the description of what you put mate.  Good to see and chat to.  We need more of that from officials as I personally think it helps everyone involved.  Used to be part of the fun of it for me :)

also chatted to Ashford's manager, couple of players, fans and chairman.  Like I say it was a feisty passionate affair yet afterwards we were all able to exchange views and have a good laugh too.  Fair play to Ashford.  Their season is pretty much over and they could have come to us and not bothered but instead gave everything to try and derail us.  Yesterday is how it should be and on reflection despite dropping points it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
