I shall be there. I'll be trying out the new stand. That's where I usually stand.

And as I say I don't know the ins and outs of the club but there appeared to be some new names on the bench over the last month or so. It's great of course so again no need to take offence.

The goals were great yesturday. Josh's effort reminded everyone what he is capable of. One of the best in the league with a great edge of the box goal. And our late winner from Scott ( I think it's Scott? Little bald guy. Hit a worldy and what a winner it was.

The lads at Knaphill have really rolled their sleeves up and finished the season well and deserve all the credit. They've been playing under a huge amount of pressure having lost key games to Westfield, Horley and Frimley green. All those matches were very close and only fine margins were the difference. Strong characters were shown to drag themselves out of a hole.

The other thing in football at this level that amazes me,when local Clubs with nothing technically to play for beat local rivals to possibly condemn them to relegation.Merstham did it to Whyteleafe 2 years ago,Ashford yesterday did it to Hanworth ,they would rather travel miles to other Clubs, than a few miles locally.Makes no sense to me

So what are you saying teams should lose on purpose??

The less clubs around you at the same level means less players to pick from.

Your comment does not make sense and certainly isn't fair

You know what I meant.

No team wants to lose at any stage, certainly to a local derby side!

So if you let someone beat you to avoid relegation then you have one closer journey a year! Don't think so.

'The less players around you at the same level means less players to pick from' Horley should be world beaters at step 5 then. Not saying they should lose at all, just maybe forget the local rivalry a bit.

Sorry, but that's utter nonsense. If you don't go onto the pitch to win, why are you there at all?

Take Ashford Town (Middlesex) v Hanworth Villa yesterday. No-one at Ashford wants to see Villa go down but we owed the Villains one after playing badly at the Ranch and the game was both the annual "Junior Day" and a discounted entry promotion for all supporters. With 228 people in the ground, the team were always going to be fired up and I'm pleased they did enough to win.

Ashford might not have much to play for in terms of League placing but our last game of the season was always going to be a marker for next season, so there was no chance of the squad not putting in a shift.

Bearing in mind that Knaphill only brought a few supporters over on Saturday, it doesn't make sense you slagging off someone who actually made the journey just for having a different opinion.

Personally, I'm glad that Knaphill stayed up for what it's worth, but as a club we hope that all those who came over enjoyed their day out and not just because of the result.

Doughie, you seem to have taken great offence to my post, i'm still not sure why?  What's the chairman got to work out or you for that matter?  I've stood next to him a fair few games by the half way line  so he should know me by now.

I'm not sure why I need to have balls and to have to introduce myself?  if you're part of the set up at Knaphill, concentrate on getting the team ready for next season rather than taking offence to someone having an opinion that the current management set up I believe should't be kept on permanently and we should be going with someone with long term premiership experience.

I have no interest in meeting you and I have no interest in making myself known, I have my opinions on football which I like to air on Forums or my twitter account, that's the best place for them.

no offence taken, just interested why such negativity towards a guy thats kept a team up in differcult league where teams have been taking points off teams up and down the league, and more experienced managers have lost and won games this season, and to be honest there are not many long term prem managers around look around dave powell, millers, ruggs, guildford manager from u18s, tommo at baggie, and camberley  manager to name a few and experience comes with where ones been not where your at with keiths times at farnboro you could say hes stepped down,

It's not really a post full of negatives. I was just saying that since taking over in January the club looked lost and a 15 point gap had been dropped.

Thankfully. Players pulled it together in time. And we look forward to next season.

Nothing impressed me however to make me feel Keith and the current set up should stay in place. I'm sure the chairman may feel the same after being relatively close to being in the bottom 3.

Anyway. Let's move on. Celebrate staying up and see what the club does in the summer break.
