Having finally got planning permission for their floodlights.........

Was told the cost of running the team and struggle to get players out regularly is too much so they are going back in to county league. Grass roots football is nothing but a struggle.

A great performance by Edgware today, to beat 2nd in the table Bedford 3-1..and to be honest a bigger score line wouldn't of been undeserved was a great testament to what Roche, Fabs and Granty have done. Bilal Butt again was class, with another 2 goals, but the best player was veteran Dennis Maharjan, was rock solid in midfield. Can't wait for next season now....Another good following from the Edgware faithful, who matched the  home faithful in terms of numbers....(in fact had 16 out of the head count of 31)

Credit to Crawley today. Played the conditions much better than us. I can't believe the slope at Barton rovers. Plus. Why can't clubs water the pitches anymore? Would encourage more teams to keep it on the deck.

The Southall FC players looked tired - playing 3 games a week since feb...catching up for sure....

Well done to Crawley though for taking advantage - Dust off and onto Wednesday
