Some clubs only get a smallish following, regardless of their achievements. Just the way it goes I suppose. I'm sure the players and management enjoyed it with or without a bumper crowd.

Clubs with big followings and noisy supporters who sit on top of the attendance table don't always equal success on the pitch. Certainly not this year anyway....

I'm glad we have a small following of timid fans

Very short sighted of you Jonno. The only target I ever set is to get more connected to the local community so we can grow attendances. Do this first then success on the pitch will follow.

How does that work then Loucas?

Well, first things first, build a LIDL nearby to attract passing custom not overly bothered by quality and you also clearly need a successful cricket team running the club for you and then you just need a man and his dog to attend every week, a bumper programme of biblical proportions and a bunch of illiterate morons to play for you . . . or you can do it the Hertford Town way as outlined by Mr X above . . .

I've always applauded the work you have done at Hertford Loucas, you put your heart & soul into it as your poor suffering wife has tweeted a few times!

Few aspects that are taking the club backwards, on field discipline is clearly one of them and your man Dog is going out of his way to make your club one of the most hated via social media.

BigDog don't mean any harm. He does a lot to keep things lively in this league, he just don't realise how much his humour offends. Very relevant that you raised the subject as that is one of the other challenges for any club that wants to progress.......how do you keep every one working together when football is the most emotive subject with so many views, insecurities and preciousness involved. I think you need a lot of tolerance and the confidence to let people do things their way even when they don't do it exactly the way you would like.....otherwise you end up with just a handful of people running a club with no help.........and eventually they give up.

Regarding attendances - that is a chat over a beer..........there is so much more to it than gate/bar income.

Yes Gavin. This is the latest update issued yesterday.

There is no additional penalty in respect tables for 5 bookings. St Mags are below Hertford because you have 13 dissent cautions against 8 for Hertford and you have 2 sending offs for violent conduct where we don't have any.

I have not defended Hertford Town against your many jibes about our discipline because I know we need to do better and we are working on this. But you really are the last person who should be throwing stones.

Think you need to lay off the petrol Loucas...you have had 5 players off in the last 4 times we have played you.

2 games abandoned this season...has that happened to 1 club before in a season?
