The respect table that Tringarmy was quoting from is first team only and points per game.....so a like for like comparison. Difference between me and Gavin is I accept we need to do better (and actually taking positive steps to address it) and am not throwing stones at others.

thanks OD and munchkin, was just curious if the table reflected to points tables ect

In terms of the respect table, it varies to be honest, however I would say there are more teams generally at the top of the league tables at the bottom of the respect tables.

The problem with the respect as partially demonstrated by OD, is it doesn't include a full disciplinary picture. So you could have a team at the top of the respect table, but get 3 cautions average a game but for tackles rather than dissent.

Basically for respect, just try to teach your players to keep their mouths shut. We must be great then, as 3rd in the Prem and 2nd in the Respect Table. As said before by others, the management teams of clubs need to behave as well, that is where it stems from.

Not quite so good on the reserves side though , which suprised me a little. The red against us would count, but certainly not the worst teams I've encountered.

I think its because most of the team are young lads and always have something to say.

Wow, great coverage, like watching it on TV. I loved Harry Ricketts, nearly giving away two goals with awful distribution, then saving the day later on, great turn around.

More than a few incidents in this game, some of them very cringy and embarrassing to watch, surprising to see the modern game having great effect even at ssml level. No one would flop to the floor like they did in this game when I was playing! The cringiest moment has to be Sam Ruff, sent off for the softest of the three incidents (pushing someones belly) then bowls off like he was Vinnie Jones "offering out" the fans as he leaves the pitch - CLASSIC! I'm sure he told the story very differently to his mates.

And Barker the st margs skipper, he was never gonna last 90 minutes anyway. I might still be able to cut it at this level if he can. The bigger they come, the harder they fall, and boy he fell very, very hard (if you know what I mean). Was it a punch or a head butt?

One person I wouldn't want to mess with in that Hertford side is Wade, don't know the guy, but he looks he could be an illegal bare-knuckle boxer.

And the pitch, it made the ball look like a joke ball, bobbling up and down. Fair play to the players for trying to get the ball down and pass on that.

On the whole though, an absolute disgrace and a sad day for ssml. A long, hard look in the mirror is needed. How someone can let themselves get that out of shape is disgusting.

Very short sighted of you Jonno. The only target I ever set is to get more connected to the local community so we can grow attendances. Do this first then success on the pitch will follow.

What makes you think I was talking about Hertford? Hoddesdon have had healthy attendances this year with nothing to show for it. The man doth protest too much me thinks!!

Yeah Jonno, jibes at a team with ""noisy fans" and "top of the attendance table" from someone from Hoddesdon not averse to having a go at Hertford Town.......of course you were talking about Hoddesdon mate.

Don't know what made me think of Hertford Town?
