Get many through the turnstiles yesterday Uncle T? Well done on the win!

Off the field, we managed a gate of 372 but couldn't get a win on the green stuff.

Pictures should be up on the site soon along with a great video of the mascots singing in the tunnel pre-match.

372 excellent. Do you think of on the field is going no well you could regularly get 200+ through the gate?

Don't see why not. We had crowds of 2000+ back in the day and the club are trying to grow organically within the community to get back to former glory days. Need a new clubhouse and a few new players to improve the squad next year so as the saying goes "If you build it, they will come"

I am not so sure. We have a hard core that come and watch regardless of results. The rest we work really hard to get in week in week out. Our worst gate of the season ( and the last few years) came when we were on our best run of the season (after 8 wins and a draw)......I think we were complacent that results would bring them rushing in, so we did not do so much marketing.

The bigger factor is how much you reach out to the local community and ensure when they do come in there is a good atmosphere.

Agreed Loucas. I think it takes a lot of hard and constant work to keep interest in the community, Royston did a great job of it when Attfield came in, their gates went from nothing to over 200 (250 in their first season under him vs us) I think Chairman must have worked tirelessly with local press and town to create the interest.

Royston made a lot of changes during that time, particularly to their committee structure and personnel, which saw the club then flourish and go from strength to strength.

Sometimes a change is as good as a rest.

Free Admission at Leverstock Green FC on Saturday vs London Tigers kick off 1500.

I see London Tigers finished the game with 8 men they really are a Sunday League Pub Team ;-) the league should just relegate them and keep Hillingdon Borough up :-)

We had a nice day but not many spectators. It was really to reward our supporters who come week in and week out. Tigers were always on the brink for the whole game. Rolling around when just touched for free kicks. They completely lost it at the end, we just sat back in our own half and watched them self destruct.

Nice one. Sounds like the same bunch of Sunday League players as when they played against Wembley a few weeks back. Shambles/Tinpot is how i would describe London Tigers FC apart from their secretary.
