FF News Posted April 28, 2015 Share Posted April 28, 2015 Defender Carl Piergianni has been named as Vanarama Conference North club Boston United`s player of the year for 2014/15. The popular United centre-half edged out top scorer Dayle Southwell and fellow defender Zak Mills to take the coveted Turnbull & Co-sponsored award — presented by Paul Roberts after Saturday’s final day fixture against Leamington. Piergianni won further acclaim courtesy of the BUSA player of the year and York Street veterans` supporters` awards. Southwell collected the Barbara Singleton Memorial Trophy for players’ player of the year, the BUSA junior members` favourite player of the year award and a `golden boot` courtesy of MS Events. Bradley Easey won the Boston Anorak Company-sponsored youth team player of the year award, while the United Cheer Team ‘Buzzy Bees’ collected the Dick Carrington Memorial Trophy for ‘club team of the year’ for the second season running.
