Quote: everything about Gravesend is better than Canvey. I’m not so sure I agree, especially when it comes to education...
I would suggest after reading that drivel that your standard of education is poor with spelling and grammar leading the way on the 'see me please Gravesend boy' comments on your homework!! I suggest you drop your role of tuck shop monitor at break time and try learning to read and write at least then you can collect your Giro's without any problems.

You are dumb.<p>According to the Knowhere Guide Gravesend is a lovely place - It made me laugh anyway..ha ha ha<p>Inside information
Hook-up Spot (That hallowed spot where everyone hangs around with their mates dreaming of the time when they can get into the pubs or clubs -- a bench, a corner: you name it.) <p>-lordstreet full of little pikeis smoking ciggerettes they stole of there fat pregnant mums
the cider park (woodlands park), this park is now called the cider park, due to 6 very heavy drinkin lads. rs jf ji ah sh pw <p>-Windmill Hill, The prom, Deneholm road shops, Church alley, Chase alley. Many memories of having sneaky cigarettes and drinking sessions around these places. <p>-Outside Maccie Ds or by the train station
i always used to hang around woodland park, and the prom when i was a younger teenager.. alot of child molesters were at the prom tho <p>-The Perry Grill is the place to be!
Fleetway Youth Club...Yeah quite [****!!****]! But the one at Northfleet Church was the business <p>-Windmill Hill still rules for sex, drugs, rock n roll, speed and weed and birth control! Otherwise its still Cascades carpark and skating ramp or now at Cygnets too. Woodlands Park during the day if you wanna get chatted up by oikes or if you are looking for the pikeys go down the prom with a bottle of White Lightening and no doubt someone will be there in a flash.

-Windmill hill away from the kosovan scum roaming the streets. Outside Tescos on the benches, kings farm (tennants), buffs head boi
Benches, fields, u name em-I've been there!!
wicked - i is been mostly hangin around by the venue in the car park, smokin odd stuff. you is be catchin me there most evenins wiv ma biatches.
central stores kings farm offie <p>-St.Patricks Gardens, the field on Winchester Crescent, Cascades-Rivermount (Just off of Valley Drive)-valley drive bench (near da phone boxes)Yeah bruv!! I had a good larf at all of em and been drunk at ever1 of em-I won't go ito that one though!!-lol <p>-woolworths was always the best place to meet, followed by the millers cotage for a drink. In those days(75/76)that was about the only place to get a drink at 16.It seems now that any pub lets in 13 year olds and bouncers are on all the doors. <p>-The Red lion steps, full of ****y little oikes and slappers, some of the younger birds ain't bad, they don't say no much. but then the cellar bar is shut so there hmmmmmm.... it seems that the bench outside Maccys D's is particularly popular at the moment...... <p>-the prom....... you cant go to gravesend without walking along the prom and meeting a drunk old man and the infamous group of pikies and chavs...........what more could you want from a hang out spot?? <p>-hello,SORT IT OUT!4 Godsake pikies everywhere get a grip! The spined midi ramp at the top of perry street (next to Sprints). <p>-Well I met some really old school friends on the wall outside St.Georges church while waiting for the bus.
-Er...not much choice really! The prom, mcdonalds was always a fav and youth clubs are extinct now arn't they? <p>-The skateboard ramp at cascades is the best ever. <p>-Well if it's ****** your looking for - Harbour Street. Numerous amounts of slags with knee high boots and short PVC skirts. Heaven - NOT. <p>-Down the prom for a quick shmol or off down to the off license for a huge bootle of Omega cider. <p>-Outside woolworths is a place full of adolescent memories, many of them waiting for people to turn up. It's better than MacD's bcos you can shelter in the doorway when it rains. everyone used to doss round riverview shops,no doubt they still do <p>-The bench at the top of perry street, takes me back. Lots of girls waiting to be picked up.
Bench outside the Railway Tavern
The young gangs hang around Riverview Park shops and all the streets late at night. Who knows what they get up to! <p>-Everyone always seems to meet outside Macdonalds, good as it is in the centre of town, but nearby bentches are alwys full of bird's crap.

-windmill hill...wot can i say? the best chip-scoffin, hooch-drinkin, pub-dreamin, virginity-losin site of my growing up xperience!
The Warren on Valley Drive - Many a time I sat up there with my mates and a few bottles of White Lightning. <p>The above extracts were taken from the Knowhere Guide. (URL Below)<p>I must say it does paint a pretty picture - however I certainly won't be rushing to buy up property.<p>Any of the above apply to you boys????<p>http://www.knowhere.co.uk/395.html

i agree, i think we will go up next season. But i would not laugh alot if u got relegated next season(much). Did u not lose to stalybridge at home in the trophy, the same team that relegated.

And I'm sure nobody would laugh much if you didn't go up! Just like nobody laughed this year, apart from just about every other club in the Ryman Prem of course! hahahaha!
And whats the big deal about losing to Stalybridge, I mean didn't Canvey lose at Croydon who were relegated from the Ryman Prem?

Can I add a comment here?<p>Gravesend is a Sh1thole. It's full of cap wearing drum 'n' bass worshipping chav bois who will all ultimately end up in Mcdonalds (it seems to be their favourite place anyway). <p>A decent Wetherspoons in town but that's about it. In fact, the whole of North Kent is the same all the way to South London, its a horrible place to live. <p>Canvey in it's little secluded Island is probably lovely, and didn't look that bad when we drove through it.<p>Unfortunately last I knew this forum was about football, not the quality of towns - shame really!<p> <img src="graemlins/images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0" alt="[rolleyes]" />

Canv, if you could try posting in English people might understand what the hell you're talking about, thats if you know yourself, and you had to use your favourite word again, didn't you!
See the mad doc about a brain transplant you pillock! Perhaps if you read Essys post enough times, all night probably, you might get the drift of it! duuuuuuurrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!

Canv, if you've been up all night and still not worked it out I think the point Essy is making is that this is a football debate so the arguments about how nice or otherwise various towns are is irrelevant, like much of what you say is!
Personally I don't live in Gravesend and I very rarely go into the town, G&N's ground is in Northfleet, I don't think anyone would suggest that North Kent is the most senic part of the country but then neither is South Essex!

I wasn't actually dissing anyone. Just pointing out that the quality of the town has nothing to do with the football team that plays there.<p>'Nuff said. <img src="graemlins/images/icons/cool.gif" border="0" alt="cool" />

Yeh its OK Essy it was obvious to me and I should think to most other people the point you were making its just that the clown that calls itself CANV is not very bright and has great difficulty understanding English!
