There was a controversial end to the league season, when two crucial matches were called off, both of which may have affected the final positions in the league table.

 

Harold Wood won the league with 61 points after beating Wadham Lodge 4-1 in the final match before a crowd in excess of 300 - but their penultimate match was called off and three points were awarded to Harold Wood.

Kelvedon Hatch were also on 61 - their final match was controversially called off when they needed a double figure score to take the title.

Hannakins Farm finished on 59 points, having gone into the final day at the top of the table

Wadham Lodge were fourth on 58 points, needing to win their final match to win the title.
