As there is likely to be less coaches next year, can we keep this thread pinned for alternative travel at the top so everyone is aware of how people are travelling there.....

 

I'll post all the train arrangements here so that we will be planning for anyone to join us

Pre-Season: Whitstable Town (Sat 1st August)

 

If you are planning to go to this game by train, the cheapest fare is £20.35 (group save/gold card)

 

Train Details are as follows;

9.00 - Meet at Upminster

9.16 - Train to Victoria

10.37 - Victoria to Whitstable

12.02 - Arrive in Whitstable

 

19.24 - Leave Whitstable

22.12 - Arrive to Upminster

Dereham Town (A)

 

This trip is not easy by train as the only line which serves Dereham is the Mid-Norfolk Railway which is a heritage line, however a few of us are planning to drive up and stay up there.

 

I'll post the hotel details as soon as I know.

 

I will be driving up on Friday and coming home on Sunday if anyone wishes to join me.

I've booked my hotel room for 2 nights MJB Dereham Hill House Hotel. Its only £83.

Please note - there is a coach going to Dereham - I will post times and prices as soon as I have them.

 

There are also coaches to Soham, Wroxham and Bury.
