Former Spurs man named as Jammers manager

Chairman Ed Garty has confirmed that Kevin Watson has been appointed the new First Team Manager of Maldon & Tiptree.

Kevin is a former Tottenham Hotspur, Colchester United and Reading midfielder and also he is a coach at Colchester United's academy.

Watson, has also played for Rotherham United and Swindon Town and has been a touchline pundit on Sky Sports' Gillette Soccer Saturday.

Here is what Kevin had to say on his new role, this was posted on his official Twitter page;

"Delighted to have been named the new manager of @MaldonTiptreeFC in the Ryman League. Really looking forward to the challenge ahead."
