FF News
Bradford Park Avenue Avenue manager Martin Drury has described to signing of goalkeeper Jon Stewart as a “massive coup for the club.” The new boss made his second signing yesterday with the addition of the 26 year old, and has spoke of his pleasure at making an impressive capture. “To get Jon is a massive coup for the club.” Drury said. “He is first class goalkeeper and we are very excited to have him with us. “He’s a very professional guy with a great attitude to football and you only have to speak to him to see how much he loves playing the game.” Stewart has made a number of appearances in the football league, and was signed by Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe at both Bournemouth and Burnley. “His background is impressive having been signed by Eddie Howe on two occasions and he has been at a number of top clubs. “He’s still fairly young for a goalkeeper but he has a wealth of experience and knowledge and we predict he may well become a fans favourite, not only for his on the pitch performances but for his manner and character off it. He’s a gentle giant when you speak to him but he’s an extremely demanding guy when he’s playing. “We hope to have Jon with us for a long time.” Source: tc1.bpafc.com Source
