FF News Posted May 22, 2015 Share Posted May 22, 2015 Goalkeeper Daniel Lavercombe has signed a two-year professional contract with Torquay United after completing his scholarship at the club. The local youngster has been superb for the youth-team all season, earning himself a professional debut toward the end of the season. Dan went on to make five appearances for United’s first-team in the Vanarama Conference and made a huge impression with his calm assurance between the sticks. The performances were noticed by Premier League giants Liverpool and Dan is currently training with the Anfield club, as they assess the qualities of United’s talented young goalkeeper.
