romford boy
Just returned from my local park and watched a heron snatch a baby coot from the lake. Within seconds a crow attacked the heron presumably to get the baby coot and was pecking at the herons head. The heron flew of with the coot sill in its beak with the crow still attacking it. After about thirty yards the heron accelerated and the crow gave up. I have seen herons snatch baby ducks before on this lake and assumed its because the lake is polluted and there's no fish left, and have heard crows often do the same, but have never personally seen it.
