Surrey Elite League 2015/16 Season Thread

A couple of teams fairly local to me should be worth watching for their results.

Horsley will be crowned champions if they claim 1 point from their final 3 matches.

They are away at AFC Cubo on Tuesday.

This would complete a treble for Horsley for a second successive season.

Balham would then be runners up (playing at Wibbandune in 2016/17 and probably in CCL 1).

The Middlesex League is between LPOSSA (sharing at AFC Hayes and season finished), New Hanford (2 to play) and West Essex (4 to play.

New Hanford are down as playing at Hillingdon Borough, would that be in the stadium or one of the outside pitches

Just looking at fixtures for the Middlesex League and New Hanford are playing British Airways at Ashford Town tonight.

Seen a couple of BA games, not bad football.

The stadium I believe.

FT British Airways 2 - 0. New Hanford, both teams played good football and wouldn't go amiss in C/C division 1

That defeat cost New Hanford any chance of the title.

LPOSSA have 74 points and finished their season. New Hanford have 4 games left and need 3 wins to pip them.

Not easy fixtures though.

Away to Kilburn tomorrow night (long rush hour trip for an early KO) and an away game with Indian Gymkhana to come on Saturday.

They finish with home games v FC Assyria (no mugs) and CB Hounslow Reserves.

Yes, West Essex. I have carried both the Elite and Middx tables all season on our website here.

Chris, the result of Cricklewood v BA was 3 - 2 in case you haven't been able to get it

Thanks Tel.

BTW, West Essex FC are Middlesex League champions as FC Assyria cannot raise a team to travel to Barking FC tomorrow night.

West Essex are promoted to the Essex Senior League.

Now awaiting confirmation as to whether LPOSSA FC are allowed to join the CCL Division 1.

It has been announced by the Middlesex League that LPOSSA will NOT be promoted this season.

This means the CCL Division 1 will run with 18 teams in 2016/17.
