NO TICKETS ON SALE TOMORROW

Guest

Recommended Posts

I've just phoned the G&N office to check about ticket availability tomorrow before the game and there won't be any on sale. The office is closing at 6pm tonight. shocked.gif I realise David H posted this on the 3rd in another thread but I think it needs to be more obvious! I know of lots of people who are expecting to turn up tomorrow and pay at the gate - I will tell them to stay at home and watch it on the telly - what a shame.

I think the whole thing has been a joke, lack of advertising, loads of unsold tickets, a half empty ground, and many genuine fleet supporters locked out. Could have been handled much better.

If anyone's interested I have spares at £25 each?

It has been well-publicised that you will not be able to pay at the gate - on here. the GNFC website, Gravesend Reporter, Gravesend Messenger, The Leader and numerous other places.

Half-empty ground? At the start of the week over two-thirds of the tickets had been sold, plus whatever since.

As for the genuine fleet supporters being locked out - you'll find most regulars purchased theirs at one of the home games when they were on sale.

Website and local newspapers does not equil good advertising I'm afraid. Local papers only reach a certain type of person and website is only really read by people who are fleet fans to start with - not exactly reaching out to new fans is it. You need to target the town pubs more often, and the ones that younger people drink in.

Local papers only reach a certain type of person?
You mean people that can read? <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

First you say genuine fleet fans locked out - now you are saying about aiming for pubs that younger people go in who wouldn't normally go to the fleet.

Make your mind up - which group is missing out?

Local paper: Wet reporters writing lame articles about lost cats and womens institute meetings, and the occasional sniped of information about crime reported in that politically correct way that only the Gravesend Distroter can manage. To afraid to tackle the issues that people are concerned about so they fill pages with dross. Don't get me wrong I'll have a flick through to read a few reports on poor persecuted gypsies squating in fields, and misunderstood teenage yobs mugging grannies but I know loads of people who wouldn't waste the money on it.

As for the group missing out; most people, although hundreds don't even know it.

I'll be there tomorrow listen out for me. Even staying in tonight so there's no hangover to hold me back. Listen out for me Super Shaz I'm sure you'll hear us.

Same boring comments, what next 'I can't wait till the kids go back to school'?

Let's look at the evidence:

"Like I said, chill out and enjoy it along with the spectacle of a mob of county fans scatering like a heard of gazelle on an african plain.

"Run County, run County, run run run,

don't give the Northfleet their fun fun fun..."

"I suppose that means I'm not welcome on Saturday as well? I was looking forward to chucking beer down my throat from lunchtime, singing what many people would class as 'unacceptable side of English football' songs in the pub then marching to the ground and abusing some County fans."

"YES. Wales versus England in Cardiff. Dosent' get any better does it!"

There are quite a few sinister undertones in your posts.

OK - deny it.....whatever. Am I the only person who thinks so?

Stalker? lmao

As a moderator of this forum, along with others, we are duty-bound to keep tabs on all posts.

Tough decision now - do we ban your username, ban your ip address - or maybe just reveal your ip address to the footballing authorities and leave them to track down your hooligan activities?

Anyway - I have to do some more exciting now than reading your posts - so I am off to watch some paint dry.
