Premier League new boys to visit Clarence Park

St Albans City announced they will be hosting the newly promoted Watford FC first team at Clarence Park on Wednesday 8th July, kick off is 7.45pm.

In what will be their first pre-season outing of the summer, Watford's new manager Enrique 'Quique' Sanchez Flores has already confirmed that all their premiership stars will be out in force and are expected to give the Saints a thrilling challenge to really fire up their passion for the upcoming friendly games already announced.

The Hornets have chosen St Albans City to launch their pre-season campaign and showcase their new arrivals prior to their other friendly commitments and with the glorious weather set to last, a hot balmy evening ahead promises to show Clarence Park and the Saints in full glory. Watford will naturally be a exciting team to face but the St Albans City joint Managers Graham Golds and Jimmy Gray are confident that both teams will put on an exceptional performance. Fans will remember the excitement and enthusiasm of the huge crowd last year.

It's going to be a fantastic event and urge everyone to come down to Clarence Park for what will be a great evening's entertainment. Tickets will be available on the evening but can also be purchased in advance from either the club office at Clarence Park or by calling 01727 848914 and are priced at only £12 for adults, £8 for concessions and £5 for U16s.
