FF News
Two members of last season's all conquering youth team, Kai Walters and Callum Ferguson have signed first-team forms for Vanarama National League South club Maidenhead United. Both players were key members of the double winning youth team, and having trained with the first team pre-season and been giving minutes of playing time off the bench, were asked to sign first team forms by manager Alan Devonshire. First-team coach Sam Lock, who managed the boys at youth level, describes Walters as two-footed with great balance and the ability to beat players. He is a local lad who was part of the Wycombe Wanderers academy which folded going on to join Luton Town academy before joining the Magpies in the 2013/14 season where his talent was clear to see occupying an attacking midfield role. Ferguson is a holding midfielder who was also at the Wycombe Wanderers academy until it folded.
