Both the of the old Lyne F.C men's teams amalgamated with Chertsey town in the closed season as they were playing out of there and become their reserve section.

The new Lyne F.C is being driven by the youth section and committee members.

This is a completely fresh set-up at Lyne F.C which come about at the end of April.

Lyne F.C will be playing in the Guildford and Woking Alliance Premier League to start off, but are looking to move up the levels quickly.

Would like to wish Lyne fc for there season, a good bunch of lads and a nice management team..

Slewis 1972 happy that you like the new changes we have worked hard in of close season to try to improve where we can. We are aware that it's a bit of a rebuild for us at present but we are looking at the long term to hopefully take the club forward off the pitch and then on it.

Two games into the season we have no need to hit panic buttons.

Might need to clarify a few things, appreciate the feedback on website, I built it aswell as club forums. Where I am not involved with the men's apart from a coaching point of view, I am one of the founders of the club and current coach of a u11s team. I know the men's management and a lot of the squad hence why I went down there. Looks like I will be spending some more time watching them, role on tomorrows friendly.

Think Scottie was talking about the Lyne set up

Frimley have been around for years but I suppose you have to take any credits when just beaten by a side. 5 leagues below you

Good luck there mate. Nice people good facilities but a big job needs to be done.

Lyne fc are up and coming and have the player base and black book that we aquired at other clubs that we were at together. They are now in a position to give these guys a great opportunity to enjoy their football and progress with an up and coming club.

Unfortunately Frimley have been around for some time now and there seems to be issues stopping what could be a great club moving to where it should be

Hi Weeble

Changes are afoot within the club and behind the scenes there has been lots of improvement made not just cosmetic changes but the actual foundations to a successful football club.

New sponsorships/partnerships built. Potential link ups with local football teams ensuring the maximum opportunity for progression potentials for the village and local areas up and coming younger players.

Whilst results of course will be looked at and frowned upon if they're arnt in our favour, there's a long term plan in place and hopefully for the club. The village and past and present players/ representatives we can take Frimley Forward. But before we can run on the pitch. We need to sort the club out and thats exactly what's been happening over the past 3 months.

Lynn FC kindly accepted our invitation to a friendly and it enabled us to work on a few things. Whist people may look at the result and think negatively, we got what we wanted out of the friendly.

I know a fair few on here. Yourself included Weeble, have spent time at our club, the invitation is always there for yourself and others to pop on down and I'd be more than happy to have a chat and discuss the plans for the next 12/18 months.

Yea Lyne were a good little side mate.

But friendlys are a lot different to a league game, you also try lots of tactics in friendlys and a lots of different players.

But like you and duncs said frimley are goin no where, lost the first league game so the league is now over!!

The main thing is were getting 11 players to field a team so the club is getting a fine

Don't know who you are FGFC but the impression you are giving is not what i am getting from the people of this area, lots of senior players have left YOUR club and are travelling far and wide to get a game, come down off your high horse and get real it is wrong that FGFC has been given away to people who really don't deserve it,many many years have been spent building FGFC up to where it is now it didn't happen when you lot arrived,FACT.
