FF News Posted August 28, 2015 Share Posted August 28, 2015 Warrington Town manager Shaun Reid and chairman Toby Macormac are calling on their fans and the public to help police track down the thieves who caused thousands of pounds worth of damage during a raid on the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League club's home. Shocked officials at the First Division North Wire found a trail of damage left by the raiders when they discovered the break-in at Cantilever Park on Monday morning. As well as damaging six fire doors to gain access, gaming machines and a jukebox were smashed up with cash and bottles of spirits stolen. A TV was also taken down from its stand but later found abandoned on the premises following the break-in which is believed to have taken place between 1am and 7am. Describing the thieves as "dogs" in a post on Facebook, Reid said: "Whoever broke into the club last night. I truly hope you get yours and I hope it's fatal. "You are the scum of the earth. Many hours of hard work have been put into the town's football club and you scum have set us right back. DOGS. But we will all pull together and get back on track." Macormac spoke of his "shock" in an interview with the Warrington Guardian. He said: "I'm a bit OCD about locking the doors so I knew straightaway when I walked in and saw the middle door was ajar. There was glass everywhere. I was in shock. "I have spoken to some people who have been here for 20 years and they have never heard of something like this happening.
