Was the money not available for Brad to have recruited a decent striker over the summer? Let's be honest, the understudys to Bobby and Corey simply aren't up to it. AnfieldTowner Posted August 30, 2015 Share Posted August 30, 2015 We're struggling to find the net but I'm not sure that's all the fault of the forwards, though Corey and Bobby certainly haven't hit the heights of last season yet. Alex Cathline and Dernell Wynter both look like good prospects but clearly neither are the finished article yet. Think our problems this season have been as much at the back and in midfield as they have been up front and haven't been helped by losing the spine of the team to injury. lovely stuff Posted August 31, 2015 Share Posted August 31, 2015 Also our conversion of decent chances into goals is so much poorer this season than last.I'm sure our shots at goal are not much different.Most this season are not finishing on target.There seems to be a lack of conviction in our finishing at present.
