Commendation from the Tamworth Manager

[Wobbly Wayne rides again]

I have watched a tape of the game and were my ears deceiving me, did Spackers ( or may have been Birtles) say that he ws talking to Tamworth manager who labelled us long ball merchants and that our minimum length by minimum width pitch assists us with this type of game.

 

is our pitch minimum by minimum ? certainly does not look it, and we did not look like a long ball team last night either, and we were certainly not a long ball team when we spanked Tamworth a couple of weeks ago.

I too thought it a bit strong, concidering we have only just beaten them. sounds like sour grapes
