romford boy Posted September 3, 2015 Share Posted September 3, 2015 Last night Hoddesdon looked a real rough house team who didnt stop moaning during the whole match, and incredibly their bench was even worse. Hopefully, for Ashford, their number ten who was sent off after making some horrendous challenges will be banned for the next round. Good luck to Ashford in the next round. Supporters will be taken on a first come first served basis (there will be approx 30 seats available). Charge is to be confirmed but will probably be £10.00 per head. The replay could have gone either way. Not having Saturdays keeper available didn't weaken us as our other GL is at least as good. Penalty shootouts are never a good way to lose, but our two misses cost us dearly. The Hoddesdon supporters seemed an OK bunch, but the team and the clowns on the bench were at best unpleasant. Over the two games it was probably a fair result, but its never nice to lose to a team that seemed to con the ref at every opportunity. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AlanB Posted September 14, 2015 Share Posted September 14, 2015 It was a tough game Saturday fair play to Hoddlesdon who certainly won at all costs I was appalled at some of the comments by their players and fans at the end of the game was it really necessary to take the mick like that. I think we just got sucked in to arguing with their players and ref instead of playing the game.
