Farnham Town v Westfield OFF!

Must be all that wet-stuff again.  Plenty more to follow with high winds later this week, allegedly.

Tail winds from yet another atlantic hurricane.

No I'm definetly NOT him in disguise.  He's not pretty enough.

Proper drainage costs a bomb and very few clubs can afford it.  Maybe the F.A. could help clubs at our level out.

Dorking, as a town have been very fortunate and will now host the Surrey F.A. as caretakers of Meadowbank from 2016 onwards.

Another breath-holding exercise on the horizon me-thinks  !!!!

Onward and upwards, as people say.

In the future the fa will only give money to help 3/4g as drainage is to expensive and not guaranteed to work, ask Westfeild.A lot of scottish clubs have invested in 3/4g because of income, remember if a team don't play then there is no revenue.

Horley Town 6 Windsor 0

Two teams playing football on the ground saw Town run riot . Ashley got a hatrick so more boot cleaning for the chairman. Plus goals from Ben Herdman , Ryan Brackpool (Got on video on our you tube) and sub Richard Wetton

Pitch in good condition again at Horley last night

Football played by Horley this season (at least on the three occasions that I have seen them) has been a vast improvement on what I have ever seen them play in my 10 years with the CCL. They pass it around and are confident on the ball using the long ball on occasions to good effect. Well done

Next job is to get them to sort out the officials changing room so that is it clean and tidy prior to games

After Saturday's Vase game with more new faces brought in I thought Windsor had a decent looking team coming together.

Not looking for excuses but they were absolutely shattered at the end of extra time so I'm rather hoping that had an effect last night....

Thanks for your kind comments about the pitch and team.

Our groundsman is a retired supporter not a groundsman by trade who again does it free of charge and I must say he is doing a fantastic job, thanks Barry!

Secondly the officials dressing room I apologise if they were messy, we had a vets game Sunday and it must of been from that. But no excuses.

Just to say we have no paid cleaners, all the work is done by managers/volunteers so if that's the only complaint we will take it on the chin and try not to let it happen again.
