cheers mate lol, thing is this is a forum and i was lead to beleive it is a 2 way street with questions and answers with a bit of banter and a few insults,to be told by a poster that i am a shit manager is ok by me but to allow this to continue speaks volumes of what is being allowed to unfold at Cove.

B&B 4-1 Everley

Very good performance in windy conditions. Away team had better of first 10 mins but we out fought, out played and work hard to pull things level. After that I didn't think we would ever lose game. Solid team performance today with a few changes but 2 very good weeks for us.

Ash Utd 2 Epsom Athletic 2

not much off a game for the spectaors (well the very little that where there) as the windy conditions saw both sides struggle.

with the wind behind them in the first half ash struggled to put the right ball over the top but did manage to take the lead when beating the offside trap. had several more chances to increase the lead but failed to take them.

2nd half ash got the perfect start going two up when Epsom failed to clear their lines. Ash looked in control until the Epsom sub got sent off minutes after coming on. ash lost shape & defended to deeply which cost 2 goal & not for a great save could easily have lost the game in the final minutes

2points dropped by ash but the unbeaten run continues

Heard there was only a few decent players on show for both sides?

Camberley 3 v 0 Chertsey

Bit of a quiet game really.  Camberley took an early lead through a great strike by Coles.  Rest of the 1st half was pretty quiet with the closest Chertsey going was a ball flashed across our 6 yard box.  2nd half Camberley sat back and allowed Chertsey to dominate possession and they came close when a free kick hit the post.  2 decent goals in the last quarter from Cousins and Coles made it comfortable in the end for Camberley.

14 goals witnessed in the last 3 home games.  Plenty of entertainment on offer.

Oh and a word for the referee who I thought had a decent game.  3rd time I have seen him and all 3 have seen him have a good game.  Also it was nice to see when the worse tackle of the game was made, a poor late challenge, the player who was fouled got up and his team mates didn't make a fuss about it.  Really does help the ref.  Interestingly a similar challenge a few weeks ago saw the offender sent off for a straight red as the ref was surrounded by the opposing players and the manager was screaming for it from the dug out area.

The match report from our win over Guildford City is here:

http://www.eefconline.co.uk/Fix2015.16-29.html

The first half was one of the best I have witnessed in years with some great play and four well worked and superbly taken goals. Guildford are not a bad side and yet we cut them to ribbons on five of six occasions with four of them hitting the target.

The wind got stronger in the second half and a more even second period ended with both sides hitting the bar near the end. Overall though it is nice to have matches where I'm not chewing my fingernails in the last five minutes and this is happening quite a bit right now. Three regular first teamers out at the back right now but they will all be back soon and things are looking very rosy at High Road right now. Yes, I know it is early in the season.

Next up on Tuesday are Cove. I am aware that they only had 11 players on Saturday at Sutton Common Rovers, which might explain why their keeper was on the pitch. Who knows what line up they will bring all the way over to Chipstead on a Tuesday night. I just hope they arrive.

Ditto ... and on time (although it was an accident that delayed them on Saturday)
