FF News Posted February 9, 2016 Share Posted February 9, 2016 Chad Bond has left Merthyr Town to return to the USA. Bond joined the club in December 2015 after a spell in America playing for Tulsa Roughnecks. Manager Steve Jenkins said “I knew when we signed Chad that it was only for the short term, but with the number of games we had to play, and with injuries and unavailability of players during that period it was important to bring Chad in to add experience and quality to the squad. We wish Chad all the best on his return to the USA and thank him for his contribution and commitment over the last couple of months.” Bond made his last appearance against Paulton Rovers in the Red Insure League Cup, and made 9 appearances in total.
