FF News
Vanarama National League club Torquay United have announced that their plans to discuss a potential move into community ownership have been put on hold until the end of the season. A statement on the Gulls website read "Further to the Club Statement, published on December 31st 2015, regarding our intention to work jointly with the Torquay United Supporters Trust (TUST) to explore the viability of community ownership, the Torquay United Board of Directors have requested that this work is put on hold until the end of the season. In the meantime the Board will continue to explore other opportunities for investment into the club. TUST have agreed to this request and will now focus their attention on building their membership and raising funds as current TUST membership and income levels led to the Board's decision to defer further exploratory work at this point in time. TUST continue to work with the club on a wide range of issues and projects" Source: Torquay United FC Source
