stonesrosey Posted April 6, 2016 Share Posted April 6, 2016 Hi all, I'm a Maidstone United fan, and after seeing get well beaten by an excellent Sutton team last night, my thoughts turned to the Vanamara National South play-offs. Looking at the table, it's likely that the play-offs might involve 4-off Ebbsfleet, Sutton, Maidstone, perhaps Truro, Dartford, Hemel, Maidenhead.. All except Truro are close to London, and all are pretty well supported sides. So,how about holding the south play-offs at Wembley on the same date as the national play-offs - 15th May 2016, they currently are scheduled for the 14th at the ground of the team who finished highest. This double-header is being done for the FA Trophy and FA Vase finals at Wembley on 22nd May. I think there could be perhaps an extra 15,000 fans for a big Wembley day, and a great advert for non-league.Great day out for 4 non-league teams supporters. I guess Truro wouldn't agree.
