Hartley Wintney (Cook 2- 1 PEN, Argent) 3-2 Camberley Town (Coles, Bradshaw!!!)  :o

Camberley 10 men. RESULT - Ashford are promoted.

 

Eversley & California (Griffiths, Robson) 2-3 Bedfont & Feltham (Campbell 2, Lambe PEN) RESULT

Congratulations from all at Wibbandune to Ashford Town (Middlesex) FC on promotion.

Dorking wanderers res 1 Ash Utd 1

 

First visit to the wanderers & very nice set up.

 

The game itself was not too bad but should have been an away win as we missed lots of good chances.

 

First half was evenly fought out with ash creating good chances to take the lead but failed to take & up the other a quick break upfield saw the ball crossed into the ash area, ash stood around watching & the Dorking player took full advantage to head home & give them a ht lead.

 

Second half ash dominated creating chance after chance but failing to put the ball away, we even hit the crossbar underneath the crossbar. With time running out a free kick 20yrds saw ash's skipper take it & find the top corner to level & share the points.

 

Congratulations to Ashford Town on their promotion to step 4.
