Taylor has worked directly with some of the biggest managerial names in English football including both Jim Smith and Steve McClaren whilst at Derby County.

Sports Chairman Don Amott said that Steve will bring a wealth of experience to the club and sees him and John McGrath forming a formidable team.

Taylor commented "I met John for a coffee last week and was very impressed with him and his vision for the way he wants to take the club forward. We both have the same football philosophy of how we want to play the game and I am looking forward to working with John and Mickleover Sports"
