Job not done yet despite first leg win says Coasters boss

AFC Fylde boss Dave Chillioner insists his side still have plenty to do despite their 1-0 first leg win away to Harrogate Town.

Danny Rowe's 53rd minute effort was the different but the manager said: "It was an result but this game is still on a knife-edge, they could have got a goal tonight, we are pleased to win but won't overcelebrate, they is still a fair bit to do."

The game coukd have been so different with Town striker Paul Clayton seeing an effort saved after only 20 seconds, the Flyde manager was pleased with how the game went: "I thought the players coped with the pressure from both sides, it was an open game, we wanted to start well, they are quick starters, we knew they would create, but it was great that it stayed out, football is always down to fine margins."

Rowe finished joint top scorer in the regular league season and Challinor could not rate the forward highly enough: "He is pivotal to how we play, the lone striker is a tough role but he has everything, he's explosive, his shooting power is really good but he can also play many different roles, I asked him to make the centre halves more, he played on the shoulder and his finish is great for us."

Now the side are just 90 minutes off a play-off final place Challinor had this message "We want to make sure we are in the final, in the big pressure games our decision making was great."

"The lads know what we have to do that is work hard, get a bit of luck, but we are going to be in their really positive but the first goal Sunday is crucial."
