Sadly I cannot make the game due to prior commitments however hoping we can put the league disappointment behind us and retain the league cup.  COYK !

Being a little sparse on top (understatement) I wore sunblock for the Cup Final on Monday but the temperature dropped about 10 degrees between KO and FT. And it rained.

However I shall do as you suggest Steve!

Farnham thoroughly deserved that.

Camberley had loads of possession but offered little attacking threat except huge punts from the keeper and long throws into the box.

Many people moaned about paying £8 at Ashford Town (middx), but low and behold the CCL League Cup Final is £9,WHY?

Hope the Clubs involved get a share of the gate money.A precedent has been set by this ludicrous greedy in my mind decision.Ashford Town could be the venue for next years Final.

Smudge, if a Cup Final is advertised as £9 addmitance and you think to too expensive for you don't go, to a vast amount of people like myself have a season ticket at vastly inflated prices, I know the price and gladly pay.

As for Ashford £8 to see a young team play football, well worth the price. With their average attendance well over 100 others agree.

Of all people you should know that prize money is not given for any CCL Cup.

The only precedent set today was the fact that admission was in fact £1 cheaper than last year's final.  As to the whys and wherefores, the league decide what they will charge for their finals so maybe they will respond to your question.  Having made the decision this season to keep the finals in-house ie at member clubs' grounds, why would next year's game be at Ashford Town who won't be a member club, or is that just more speculation on your part Smudge ?
