After Saturday's 2-2 away draw against Erith Town the replay is all set up for Tomorrow Night at Gander Green Lane - Monday 8th August 7:45pm kick off. Unfortunately season tickets are not valid for FA competitions, so admission prices are.... We dominated the opening 25 minutes but failed to take any chances that included a one on one, 11 corners and 3 great saves from the Erith keeper. Erith then scored against the run of play on the break from there only shot on target in the whole 1st half. Second half was a very flat performance by both teams as neither side looked like they was going to score but amazingly Erith got a second which was thanks to the referee. The linesman flagged for a player being offside and active (as he was running after the ball) so as the player saw the linesman flag stopped running. The referee then decides to overall the linesman and waved play on as a different Erith player then ran after the ball. The Erith player had a shot and it came off the post and went to the feet of the original player who was offside who tapped it in the give Erith a second goal with around 7 minutes left to play. That goal killed off any chance of an equaliser and is a personal 1st for me to see a Ref overall the Linesman and then the offside player score and him give the goal.
