MORRISH AND LEE

1961 COYS

Recommended Posts

I think if we can keep hold of James Morrish and Kanzer Lee we wont be far off this season, they provide energy and bite in our midfield and can get up and down, this is something we have been lacking for two to three years.

KENZER LEE - was spotted by West Ham scouts captaining the Newham and Essex Schools representative side and joined the Hammers as a schoolboy. He developed through their academy to be given a two year scholarship in the summer of 2010.

In the second year of his scholarship he was a regular in the West Ham Under 18 side and also made over ten appearances for their Development Squad. His progress resulted in him singing a professional contract for West Ham in the summer of 2012. He then played briefly for Banbury Utd, before joining Oxford Utd, where he stayed for two seasons. He joined Bishop's Stortford during the 2014-15 season, and played for them last season, making 39 appearances in total. He has also had one match with Redbridge.

JAMES MORRISH - He was with Chelsea and then Leyton Orient at youth level, and then played for Bethnal Green Utd. He joined Hornchurch and played ten times in their Capital League side in 2010-11. He made his first team debut at Tooting in September 2010 and made five first team appearances before going on loan to Redbridge and then Barkingside. He joined Whitstable in 2012 and became club captain. He made 46 appearances, scoring four goals, and then joined Hythe Town, where he also became club captain, and he scored twelve goals in his 72 appearances. His last appearance for Hythe was in the pre-season matches in July.
