Scott Davies says it has been a difficult week for the Tranmere Rovers squad in light of manager Gary Brabin leaving the Club.

The Rovers shot-stopper says it is never easy when there is a managerial change but the players have to remain professional and what what they can do on the pitch, starting this weekend against Woking.

He told Tranmere Player: "It's never nice to lose a manager but as players you have to stay professional and get on with it as best as we can.

"The gaffer brought me to the Club and it's obviously sad to see him go. But in football, these things happen and you have to be professional.

"In football, things can change very quickly but you just have to do your job and that's what I intend to do.

"We have to respond in the right way and we do that by getting a result against Woking on Saturday."
