Hertford v Wembley

Recommended Posts

It was the last set of SSML minutes.

2.11. Following an error by the referee prior to the Premier Division fixture between Hertford Town and Wembley on 27 August, it was agreed that the match should be declared void and the game replayed. Contrary to a League rule, the official had incorrectly refused to allow the Wembley goalkeeper injured in the warm-up to be replaced by the reserve keeper who was with the team but not a named substitute.

Good job Mick Ewen is no longer in charge of SSMFL referees this season - I can hear him swearing under his breath now!!

There's obviously something about the Referees Changing Room at Hertford, which adversely affects its occupants.

Another League game for Hertford to catch up....

I assume the Referee has been reported to the FA.
