Enfield Town v Canvey Island

This Saturday Town host an important FA Trophy showdown against Essex outfit Canvey Island at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, and will really need to be on top of their game to progress, and enjoy a good run in this prestigious national competition.

We have already played The Gulls twice in the league this season, drawing 1-1 at home in our opening fixture, before travelling over to The Frost Financial Stadium last Saturday, and convincingly thrashing them 5-1. The match saw no less than ten yellow cards and a straight red for former Towner Tayshan Hayden-Smith.

Town supporters will be hoping our guys make home advantage tell, producing a high-energy stellar performance, supported by a large, noisy, crowd.

The winners of this match will receive a useful £2700 from the FA Trophy prize fund.

I would probably stick with the team that started at canvey unless brad is still injured then would have Micky on the right and Jordan in the centre. Harry on the bench as a very useful change in approach if necessary. It will be closer if 11v 11 but I fancied us to come through anyway. 3-1 to us.
