Not much to say about that game. A really flat performance all round.

We started well, with Dan fizzing a 30 yarder just over and ‘Herbie’ hitting a belter which Ducks keeper Zaki Oualah saved brilliantly, but United pressed us and allowed us few chances after that. United took the lead in the 35th when Bruno Brito timed his run to beat the offside trap, lob the ball over the advancing Kav and tuck it home. We added a bit of spark to our game with the (quite late) substitutions, and we got out of jail when, in second half stoppage time, a Ducks defender was penalised for a cross hitting his arm and Bitz coolly despatched the spot kick. Maybe that point makes up for the contentious decisions which cost us at least a point at Potters Bar?

Good to meet up again with Ducks fan Pete Chilcott (a mate of my brother-in-law) and thanks to his friend who bought me a half time cuppa.

Lets be honest a draw was a good result today as the weather was far more suited to ducks  :P
