Some of you have briefly mentioned louis. but i would like to say well done yesterday louis.you've been very patient had to go out on loan, come back to the club and waited for your oppotunity.Well yesterday you showed us all that you can cut it at this level for us. Lets hope this is the stepping stone for the rest of your season.
that's not forgetting the rest of the players who i thought were excellent yesterday.

I thought everyone out on pitch (apart from fridge) was a acontender 4 mom yeasterday! Louis proved himself, Ben Abbey has restored confidence in the crowd, his goal wes magnificent!! Sam Sodje was absolute scum, also, the look on Che's face was a picture! did kinnear get sent from the dugout? Let's have that second half performance, (with a little more clinical finishing) on NYD and the rest of the season please!! WEVE PROVEN WE CAN DO IT, LETS NOW BE CONSISTENT!

Perhaps at last Andy has at last realised what a gem he has in Louis Evans, judging by his complementary remarks in his after match interview, and also Rob Owen, who rarely gives a bad performance, but both sit on the subs bench far to often.

But how can you fit everyone in, Perkins, Lee, Gibbs, Pinnock missing yesterday, Shearer on the bench, and Ben Walshe surely has to start if fit on Thursday. And there's Dennis Oli who surprisingly no one has mentioned as missing yesterday. Beauty of having a strong squad I suppose.

Actually, it's the misfortune of players having the flu.....

.....like Oli has!

Well done to Louis, you have shown extreme patience waiting for your opportunity, and have proved beyond any doubt that not only are you a valuable squad player, but are also a Conference standard player. Tough choices ahead, methinks for Andy, in picking the team for Margit.

Excellent, great to hear Louis doing well at G&N. All at Bedford have a lot of respect for him and wish him well.

Was his first piece of action since he returned and he played very well and was out of position. Unfortunate not to have put away a couple chances. With a few more starts I'm sure we'll see more of his fantastic skills and superb strikes of the ball. Keep it going Louis.

Indeed, Gary. Personally, I think Andy should pick Walshe ahead of Louie if fit, although all credit to Louie for a fine display on Saturday, particularly considering that it wasn't his favoured position. However, the return of Perkins, who was at a wedding on Saturday, makes things even more tricky - there is certainly plenty of competition for places in midfield, and that can only be a good thing.

I couldn't go on Saturday. What position was Louie playing as a few posts have said he was out of position. I believe he and Eddie McClemence are actually mid-fielders and not a striker and defender respectively so if he played attacking or right-sided midfield, he was actually in his proper role. Good one, Lou!!
