Chris Clapham Posted February 11, 2017 Share Posted February 11, 2017 I have absolutely NO CONFIDENCE in the county FA's or the FA to deliver anything that will benefit football at step 5 and below. I have been involved in football for 5 decades and have seen the demise of the fundamental requirements to support the game at those levels, so much so that I will resign forever at the end of this season! That hurts me so much! The pyramid system, when implemented in the 90's was castigated by myself and many others to be an elitist movement and I have seen nothing in 20 odd years to detract me from my beliefs! Far too many people "involved" at management level in football outside of the clubs have too many self interests, not unlike the political situation in the UK!
