A good turnout but still amazingly the second lowest in the Conference. Just look at the attendances for Northwich and Leigh!

Probably about right, given the current positions of Chester and Shrewsbury, and the normal attendances at Leigh and Northwich.

The total attendances at Conference games on Boxing Day (and our game at Margate on Saturday) was approximately 29000, and today's 10 games produced 27000, giving a very impressive average of around 2800 over the 2 sets of fixtures.

Obviously they were local derby's at a time of year when the world and his wife want to go to football matches, but pretty impressive figures all the same and a testament to the standard of football at Non League level these days. (And there were some other incredible attendances as well in the feeder leagues, such as over 3500 for Weymouth's 8-0 demolition of Dorchester on Boxing Day)
