FT LOBSTERS 2 FRIMLEY 2.

Should have been done and dusted by half time perhaps the lack of games played its part. So frustrating when we have so much of the game.

Should have made yourself known Burger! First 20mins you boys done very well.

But for 70 mins thought it was very even and the longer the game went on thought there was only one winner which was us.

But that's why we love football it's about our own opinions. Shame your boys don't stay for a drink after as there great lads on the pitch.

Good luck for the rest of season mate.

Not having had a game for 3 weeks didn't help, can only look forwards now so hopefully Wednesday nights game we will be sharper again.

Morning Burger,  my views on the game will shortly be shown on my website,  feel free to take a look.

My 2nd visit to Redhill this season and I can't believe how one sided you think the game was.

As a neutral It was a fantastic tough battling game to watch and yes you had a few chances in the first half, but credit to the visitors who ran at your defence and on numerous occasions enforced errors let Frimley in.

In no way do I see how you should have been home and dry at HT   1-0 up, and Frimley causing problems. Yes they didn't manage to trouble the GK, but Redhill were fighting.

Second half belonged to the visitors,  your match report fails to mention the chances Frimley had?   The wonderful save your keeper made when their striker shot from 30 yards and it was going into the top left,  the mazy run which led to a shot inches wide.  Yet you mention  being caught by 2 counter attacks?   I'm unsure how a counter begins when you have 7 players in your own half and the ball is passed around you?

I'm posting because I think you're doing a disservice to the visitors and should be applauding their efforts to get a result, rather than trying to paint a pretty picture on a game which at no point did you control.   I'm also very disappointed that when sitting in the bar, no one introduced themselves to me, no one tried to talk to me or welcome me back to the club.

Don't get too big for your boots.

Yours Faithfully

Pat

I think you may have me confused with some one else, I'm not the author of the match report or hold a position a Redhill. Not sure as to why you expected some one to introduce themselves to you, perhaps no one knew who you were? same happen to me at Frimley, having said that I don't remember anyone at any club house ever making a point of introducing themselfs to me and why should they, I'm not important.
